i love the strokes.

today was cool, i guess. i used most of my sixty dollars xmas money and bought a guided by voices and velvet underground cd. i planned to buy placebo but they were all out. it was pretty sucky selection, but that's probly because it's the day before christmas. damn christ's birthday and its sucky cd selection. arr arr. anyway... i also dled three new strokes mp3s! i think you can find them here, but unfortunately the dood who has them is taking them down because i dunno he couldn't find enough help or something odd like that. but help if you can! it's a cool site. the world needs as many strokes fansites as it can get. yup. julian's voice is so much nicer live. i dunno, it just sounds much better live. ok, when i first got the strokes cd, iwas like "wtf??" at all the fuzziness and overproduction of his voice. but now i barely even notice it. i'm listening to "in her prime" and i can't even TELL if his voice is distorted or not; it just sounds normal to me. that's how i've always heard his voice, and i doubt i'll ever hear it normally without distortion, and that's fine n dandy with me.
