<<2002-04-16 - 7:56 pm>> okay... so i did some serious hunting around earlier today as a result of my previous entry and i discerned that chris' words were a DIRTY, EVIL RUMOR. if you look in the forum, all the coldplay-haters (who should be shot, in my opinion! *sunny smile*) claim that it's just a quote from chris to get press for the new album, which will be called "a rush of to the head." they released all sorts of lovely album info a few days ago, so unfortunately all this great news was COMPLETELY eclipsed by that horrid, putrid, evil, dream-wrecking nme article. i now DESPISE NME and EVERYTHING THAT THEY STAND FOR. forever. POX UPON YOU AND YOUR ILK, NME. POX UPON YOU.anyways, yes, so it's just a rumor. i am like, thirty-five percent sure it's just a rumor. thirty-five percent. wahey. i made a huge deal out of it at school and came very close to crying. i don't know if the same thing would have happened if the strokes had made the same announcement, but i'm quite sure it would. and if it had been jeff buckley's obituary? imagine if he died, like, yesterday, instead of years ago. there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that i would just be holed up in the toilets sobbing like a... well, like the crazy hopeless fangirl that i am.
