new template, it's a muse one... i basically just changed some colors and stuck a purty muse pic up there on the left. nothing special, but the same old conah template was getting old, and the text was too small anyway. the only reason i kept it that long is cos i was having trouble finding new image hosting...

so anyway... my birthday was great... not really because it was SPECIFICALLY great, but so many people have wished me a happy birthday. i got totally emo when they started a birthday thread on the coldplay forum (but i totally blame that on my period). it was sweet though. and rachel p discovered it was my birthday and she was like "we have to throw you a big surprise party" and everyone just seems to CARE that it's my birthday. it's extremely overbearingly sweet. i love it.

i got alissa's package today, and ate the candy she sent me and wore the bracelets and cackled over the norty-ass pictures she included. very cool stuff.

i was going to have detention this weekend, but when i told mom that sam wasn't going because none of the teachers had tried to make him go (i don't quite understand how that works) so she was like "oh... okay". she's going to rosh hashana (jewish new year, for the uninitiated) services tomorrow, which would have conflicted with the detention pick up time. which is fine with me.

i succumbed to the temptation: i started writing a "strokes in high school" fic. it's mostly albert. the way i'm setting it up is that albert is like the awkward, sensitive, out of place, insecure kid. julian is the sure brash rebel (who is also very smelly!). i think i'm going to have to employ my meager french skills for this fic as well. i'll type up what i've got so far and put it up at futurism. i'll wait until i have a few parts before it goes up at fanfic.net. maintenant je finis avec ma... um.. diary entry. thang. err.
