i like mr airplane man, but i don't like the band name. the thing is, they are EXACTLY like the kills and older white stripes and young people... they might as well have just copy-pasted the sound and no one would notice. but the thing is... the kills, young people and the white stripes are all so good that i can't complain.

i'm also gonna go see "bowling for columbine" with MY MOMMY (!) later. which will be nice, i think. my mom likes movies like that.

i have to make three mix cds for people, for christmas: albert, vivi, and sara mac. that will be fun. well, actually, i have no idea what sara mac listens to, so that will be difficult. but albert likes mostly the same stuff i do, like, trippy stuff. i'll just put alot of icelandic stuff on his cd, and maybe some bright eyes. vivi likes rufus wainwright, so i thought i'd buy her sondre lerche, but i forgot to so i will just download alot of sondre lerche and put that on hers instead. sara mac? i don't know. it will be an adventure.

i am sick in the head. i have laryngitis and a stuffy nose. but tomorrow is the punk rawk flea market and i really wanna go since that will be an excuse to hang out and do something that i have never done before. and lily h-a will be there, and we all know that lily h-a makes my day.

i'm on my second re-read of jennifer lash's "blood ties." it is so much better this time. everything is still the same - parts about lumsden going to england still make me cry, and spencer with the dead hen makes me depressed. but parts about dolly finding out about her mother, and trying to escape... those are making me cry too, and they didn't before. goddamn, i love jennifer lash. so much.

well, i have some cds to burn and some mind-numbing new music magazines to read, so toodle pip.
